What is UIPath?

Three major components: -

• Studio:  Is a designer tool used to create diagrams and business processes. It is based on Microsoft Workflow Foundation and, from a visual point of view is very similar to Microsoft Visual or other flowcharting software. Model automation visually, without scripting, without code is the main feature.
• Robot: Executes all processes design in Studio in the same way as a human user would. It works in either fully autonomous mode, or as an Assistant.
• Orchestrator: It’s a web-based management platform that enables remote control, monitoring, release management and centralized scheduling of robots and processes. It facilitates both human-robot collaboration and business exception handling by using centralized work queues. We can also use its API’s to invoke workflows on both physical and virtual machines. It also offers analytics; insights and it lets you create configuration reports or dashboards.

With UiPath studio we can design different types of workflows, sequences, flowcharts and transactional business processes. UiPath is also compatible with Excel, PDF and all forms of Database types. Also, compatible with Outlook, Gmail or any type of email client that has SMTP, IMAP or POP3.
